Of course the best performance of the night by far was Beyonce's Ring The Alarm!


It was absolutely hot! Coming from the ceiling, looking like a superhero, sexy S&M black outfit, great attitude and power, HOT Janet-inspired dance sequence, many parts sung live,a ll of the props like the jail cells and the alarms and the whole theming and everything. Of course it was the best, by far, how could anyone see otherwise?


But I also think that Justin, Christina, and most of all Shakira did a great job as well. I enjoyed this year's VMAs.

I loved Justin's SexyCool dance moves.

Beyonces performance was the best by a mile, it made me start to like the song and her voice sounded better than the actual record. They should seriously put that as the official video rather than that awful one she has now

T.I. - What You Know

Justin, sexy behind did great. Christina looked elegant and did good. Equally as Beyonce looked and did good. These three made the night special at the VMAs.

Beyonce's performance was amazing. I think hers by far was the best. But Justin, Christina, and Shakira were close.

I've just seen them and Beyonce had the performance of the night imo.

It just blew the others away, the energy, the anger, the voice and the moves were awesome. I know I can see the Jackson influence and the Britney/Jolie outfit but she made it her own. When they cranked themselves down and then back up again that was fantastic imagry and a sequence of moves I haven't seen before.

Whereas Justin's choereography seems to feel generic after a while, like he and his dancers just try to put as many moves in there as possible and not many really stand out or have signatures, however, you can see them better in his videos. I don't think SexyBack was very good as a performance though, it's better to listen to in music format (some of it anyway). Shakira's was similar and that everytime I've seen her perform she does the same moves, other then the intro with the dancers, and both of their voices didn't compare how well Beyonce sounded. She sounds great even when moving whereas Justin has always sounded a little off whilst moving and does better when he's not moving so much.

Christina, had an emotional performance as well, and she put the emotion through the song like Beyonce did, but obviously it was shorter and not so much too it but enough for what it was. I like the way she laid in the smoke near the end, that was very effective visually. Her voice was great and lol at the way she had to pull her dress off the fan at the side of the stage

But yep, Beyonce had the best performance imo.

The show was boring overall, but it wasn't as bad as the past two years. Seriously it's not as bad as many people here make it seem. I've noticed lots of improvement in energy . Thanks god it's in New York and it doesn't look like a concert anymore.

But this is quite the most unfunny VMAs ever , that pig jack black is NOT funny at all. All these face expressions and things he does are NOT funny. When is he going to get the message?

I only find miss. silverman skits and the Paris is fat thingy were kinda funny , but there were no funny moments at all.

-Pink was really hilarious and she's te only one who made me laugh for real. I liked Lil kim's jail thing , it was cute .

- I HATED britney's skit. It was soo not funny , I don't think they booed her? but If so ,then she deserved it because it really sucked and was so unnessecary. She looked hot though.

-The winners ...ehh , I only watch the VMAs for the performances and the show itself. I'm disappointed that this year we didn't have any kind of "Surprises" . Where's the surprise this year?????????

The performances were good , I liked AMR & The Killers performance.

Luda's performance was boring and PCD didn't make anything WOW and I already knew about them from the rehearsals pics. So NO, It wasn't a suprise at all.


-Christina was Boring AS HELL , and it's probably the worst performace of the night of the worst song of the year. I know It was just a blink for the Grammys people so they consider her and give her usual performance slot.

-Justn's performance was O.K , Loved the song ,the dance moves but as Pandora said it's generic and nothing special.

-Fergie's performance was AMAZING and really exciting . I loved the london guards and as someone said it totally fits the pre-show.

-Shakira's performance was my 2nd favorite . I liked the "Bollywood" theme. BUT, she was really horrible in singing, she had a strong accent , she was like... " MY HIPS DUON LIE" , it was annoying . Nothing too special coz we have seen the same dance moves and song millions of times, but the performance was somehow entertaining for me(WHAT?!) And why she talks like a retard on the red carpet?

-AND NOW ...THE VMAs THIS YEAR WAS ALL ABOUT....

omfg! i'M SPEECHLESS. I didn't expect her to top her 2003 performance ,but she did it. From now on , I swear , I take every bad word about her as a performer. She's a GODDESS. I really love her more than ever now and I will probably buy 2 more copies of B'day.


She was just amazing from A to Z. MTV screwed up the first part with VERY bad camera angles . I waslike WTF?! where is she .

But the sirens, her entrance , dancing near the cage , the attitude , the energy ,her look,and when the police came out and grabbed her and dropped her on the chair.OMG that was classic.

The Janet tribute was SOOOOOO HOT. I've never seen her doing such choreography. VERY WELL REHEARSED!

Then she takes off her coat and FLIES! WOW. I know she did lipsync most of the parts ,but it really worths it, unlike her BET performance. The pre-recorded vocals were so hot and I love the remix , the sceam in the middle . PERFECT!

MTV just needed a BETTER camera job but Beyocne was 5/5 stars . Beyonce = VMAs this year.


I really have hopes and I will probably be as much hyped and excited next year ,lol.
