One benefit of living where I live: I rarely see snow, and in my 13 years in Arizona, I have never encountered a snowstorm, which after watching that video, makes me a liiiittle bit more thankful for that.
are we absolutely sure that's the same story? the article didn't mention anything about it being filmed, did it? just that it was a snow-covered road and an SUV involved. :\ either way, if they are separate accidents they're both tragic.
Wow. That is so scary. It's sickening to think how quickly your life can be taken from you.. really, really sickening. A reminder to be very careful.. and yes, a simple barrier could have prevented this. What horrible luck.. if that truck were going just 5-10 MPH slower that SUV might have been able to at least make it off the highway.
It's very tragic. With that said, people have to be smart while driving. When there is snow on the ground, there should be no speeding and people should be extra cautious.
