A lot of Madonna fans didn't discredit who came before her. I sure don't. But you have to admit that Madonna HAD changed pop culture in more way than one, way more than Gaga. It's just a fact.

I mean, WHO has done gay and religion themed videos at THAT extreme before Madonna. What MAINSTREAM female artist has been THAT extreme before Madonna? No one. Just look at the Erotica era, who paved a LOT of ways even if it was a "flop".

There you go right there, the loud but small minority is what we're talking about. Extremists who get the attention. The majority of Madonna and Gaga fans are not this this HOWEVER we think we see the crazy ones more because those are the ones that get our attention. I mean yea I will point out the inspiration in other artists occasionally but I don't act like she's the pop messiah.

i used to hate her so bad then in between poker face and the vma performance i started to become a fan. now look at me, gaga posters all over my wall and being a stan for her on all social media sites

I love basically all of her singles except for Born This Way, I like some album tracks, and even though I don't really like her attitude, crazy attention-seeking outfits and things like that, I'm still looking forward to listening to her next effort. If she puts out another Born This Way kind of album though....bye.
