Pop star PRINCE took a humourous swipe at JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE while performing at an Emmy Awards after party on Sunday night (27AUG06) in Hollywood. The 48-year-old PURPLE RAIN star took the stage at West Hollywood's Sky Bar to entertain the crowd at the ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT party. Timberlake boasts in his new hit single "he's bringing sexy back", but Prince begs to differ. He yelled to the massive crowd, "For whoever is claiming that they are bringing sexy back, sexy never left!"

I think it's more his image, voice, music and personality that was sexy about him. He definitely oozed sex appeal to many people, whether it was his looks or the characteristics I mentioned or you could simply say it was just his raunchiness and then sensuality that had that reputation.

But anyway I agree that 'sexy' never left the fame world, whether he said it or not, if anything it gets more pronounced or graphic.

Lol. They said sexy never left because Prince's music was known for that. The style in which he sang, also he was controversial and he talked about sex. I can't believe that I have to explain this but anyway. Justin's new cd emulates Prince's style so much that Prince could sue him for it and win. Some of the songs are similar to Prince's songs. It's worse than when Justin copied Michael because the songs sound like Prince's. Queen could sue as well for the Futuresex lovesounds song because he took the beat of one of their songs (it's in the baseline) and he is singing in Freddie's style. MTV accused him of copying Prince already. Justin said that Prince and Queen were an influence on the album but I think it goes beyond influence. They could make a case against him. But I doubt they will. They are far too legendary to care.
