at their peak: Avril ofc. she actually sold more albums although xtina had better positions,but hey avril's wasn't bad.
now: i think their at the same league. Avril having moderate hits WW and xtina having a huge smash although only from a feature

We're talking about WW and you show up with - from what I assume since Xtina's debut sold double that WW - US receipts?
Xtina is so much bigger WW.
Avril is a two/three-hit wonder in for example Europe.
