Adele: "I didn't think '21' would sell in America"

Adele has confessed that she didn't think 21 would sell in America.
The 'Set Fire To The Rain' singer revealed that she had her doubts about her sophomore album, particularly when it came to the United States.
"I was saying, 'I don't think this record is going to do anything. I can't feel the buzz in America'," Adele told Entertainment Weekly.
The 23-year-old recently announced that she will release a new song by the end of 2012.
Adele previously suggested that she had recorded music for the next James Bond movie Skyfall, which is due in theatres in the UK on October 26 and in the US on November 9.
I lived in the UK for the first half of last year. So obviously, everyone there was obsessed with Someone Like You and 21. When I finally bought the album, I called my parents back in the States and said, "So there's this girl you HAVE to check out. The album doesn't come out for another month over there and it might be hard to find, but you'll love her."
she's at ~8.5 M.
She needs another 1.5 which will be easy
Though she's already 9 Platinuim, so I believe she will get Diamond in maximum 2 monthes, with Easter, Mother Day, BB awards and hopefully the voice/American Idol performance duca:

If she doesn't perform at the Billboard Music Awards then She could easily steal the show and have her sales go up 400k+ the next week.
I was surprised too but so happy. She deserves ALL her success, she's so talented and nice. And 19 is an AMAZING album too, shame it hasn't done as well in the States back in 2008.
