The rating comment I just posted was my opinion in groups, as was the second-best comment.
But on the topic of talent, discography, etc., I think it's best to look at the whole package: personality (charisma), talent, skills, looks, discography - and when we take all of that into account, SHINee is definitely one of the best K-pop boybands around.
EXO hasn't had their proper debut and their discography is already miles better
ANYWAYS, WHY ARE 2PM ALWAYS OVERLOOKED? THEIR DISCOGRAPHY SLAYS
SIs you're making me regret my earlier compliment. What part of 2PM's discography is in any way decent?

DEATH @ this, because it's like that for everyone. Eventually, when you start getting an idea of who's big and who's not, you'll venture over there. It took me a while as well.
- The first kpop song i know is 10 Minutes by Lee Hyori
This was also my first k-pop song, OMG
My dad bought a pirate mp4 in 2004. Lee Hyori was in the cover And the video came for free in it Actually I found the mp4 package last year, just because of the Lee Hyori picture, since I wasn't a k-pop fan back in 2004

For Muzik and Hit Your Heart. I even stanned for "Superstar" (one song from them for Superstar K). I stopped stanning right after my first Heart To Heart play
Looking at the whole package, SHINee are definitely in the top 5. Their hideous discography weighs them down, though. I could BARELY find 14 good songs to make an album with.
I think SHINee's discography is underrated but I do agree that they have quite a few duds. They didn't start releasing any superb material until 2009, Year of Us came around, and while both LUCIFER/Hello and The First were strong releases, Sherlock hasn't had any longevity in my book and it makes me wonder if LUCIFER and TF were just lucky releases for them.
I still enjoy a bunch of their material, though, and when they hit the nail on the head, they REALLY hit the nail on the head (Ring Ding Dong, JoJo, A-yo, Stranger, Sherlock, etc.).

All (except A-yo) on my consolidated list. I just think that their ratio of good to bad songs is appalling compared to most K-Pop groups. Howeva, I use:
Lucifer, RDD, JoJo, Stranger, Sherlock, With Your Love, Love Should Go On, Honesty, Hello, the Replay Boom remix, The Name I Loved, The Reason, Start, and To Your Heart.
I went through their ENTIRE discography and that's all I kept.

But I've known of a few of them since 2009 and I still don't like them. I don't like guys vocals in general. I only like Phoenix, The Black Keys, Tesla Boy, The XX

I like about 2-3 songs on each of their releases except for 2009, Year of Us, LUCIFER/Hello, and The First. I use 5 of the tracks on Y.O.U, maybe 13 on LUCIFER/Hello, and basically all of The First except for the Juliette translation (sucks in both Korean and Japanese) and Better.

I've just never been big on RnB, and Lucifer gave me the impression they were all dancey, and then I started downloading stuff... Regardless, I still think they as a group are flawless so it's all good.

Jonghyun. Too bad he's ****ing Kibum.
I love every member except Minho, and even he's improving in my eyes.
Taemin is just overflowing with adorableness, Onew is so awkward that I can't help but love him, Jonghyun is like sex meets chivalry, and Kibum is a *** but he's still hilarious and gorgeous at the same time.

anywho
I'm really getting into Hyuna
They are great performers. In the I'll Be Back era, every performance had a different theme, like the Pop version, Rock Version, Army Version (my fave)
And they sing and dance live, they are probably the best male performers I've seen since DB5K
And Lukitoo, bb, we all know 2PM slay live. I'm talking about their discography. I literally only use Hands Up. And occasionally Heartbeat. Alive >>>>>>>>>
