(1) Janet's new album is now available for pre-order on ITunes. Those who pre-order the album will receive the single "So Excited" immediately upon purchase. Customers are charged 99 cents for the track, and the balance of the album's purchase will be paid when the album is downloaded upon its release. Customers who pre-order the full album will also receive the bonus track "Roll Witchu," the "Call On Me" music video, and the digital booklet for "20 Y.O." Alternatively, customers who wish to only purchase the track "So Excited" can also do so right now for 99 cents on iTunes.

(2) Janet's new music video for "So Excited" will be on BET's Access Granted on September 13th!

(3) It appears that Janet will not attend, present, or perform at the VMAs. There is an interview posted on another thread that demonstrates the strain between MTV and Janet.

(4) JanetJackson.com has the song "So Excited" posted, along with her Myspace page.

I can't get over how HOT is "So Excited" .It's one of the year's best singles.

I'm praying now for her that her album survives with "So Excited" & Khia's power.

I think Janet is gonna flop. I want to feel sorry for her but i can't because if you release mediocre music, you ain't gonna get huge sales.

Nuroad, seriously - think of the last MAJOR artist that did not have the support of MTV - and then ask yourself, was their album a resounding success?

Well, nuroad, I'm a huge Janet fan and I'm going to buy her album just to support her ,But in all honesty ,I'm really not SO excited about this album after I heard "Enjoy" & "Call On Me". Everything is weak and below average with this era. So you don't have to get mad when people think she's going to flop or beyonce is going to do better than her. Because that's a fact and that's the obvious. It's not happening on these boards alone. It's EVERYWHERE and people seem to talk more about Paris Hilton than Janet's new material and comeback.
