Like I said, a better comparison would be between the albums that were released in relatively the same year.
It's much more difficult to compare a 13 year old album to a 9 year old album, when the artist of the 13 year old album has an album made 9 years ago.

Britney IS THE PRINCESS OF POP!!!
She only did one performance in last 2 years or so, was pregnant and didn't promote at all like some other new moms 
. The reviews include Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Billboard, and All Music Guide. How preposterous to think they only reviewed her work because they were "favorable" or "receptive" to it. These critics have reviewed a majority of her work. All Music Guide has reviewed even her 1996 debut album. They reviewed her work because they are respected music critics and wouldn't simply ignore a work just because it's in Spanish.
