Almost three months in the top 10 after debuting at the top? I don't see what your longevity means but in general, THAT is longevity. It looked like it free fell but it hold on to the top 10 very strong.
The only Britney songs that didn't really have that much longevity in her modern eras were Gimme More and Hold It Against Me. We wouldn't count Radar and Criminal since they were both destined to flop.
Circus, Womanizer, 3, Till The World Ends and I Wanna Go had amazing longevity.
If U Seek Amy & Piece of Me were top 20 hits that have eventually sold 1 million copies.
IUSA spent 21 weeks in the Hot 100 and I think Piece of Me spent 18 weeks which is not bad.
Break The Ice tho..

I have no excuse for that
The pattern you are talking about is invalid since 'Gimme More', a lead single underperformed while 'Womanizer' did amazing as well as '3'. I don't know what pattern you're talking about or maybe you're just reaching too much.
