What is the point in discussing it in a music forum unless physical action is going to be done? Which is where the US citizen part comes in. Unless you plan to do something about it here, then I don't see the point in discussing. It's just taking away the focus.

This is a forum where people are entitled to share their opinions and thoughts on whatever is posted. My thoughts and opinions on this is that it is sad and an outrage because it could have been prevented.

So the problem is....

When I thought of scenarios of a shooting on my campus, just in case, I had never thought of the shooter being right next to me during a class and just shooting.

Please refrain from talking about American gun laws in this thread, it's a little insensitive. Someone opened a separate thread for the discussion if you want to debate about it.

Exactly. This seems to be common in the US but it has never happened in my country because it's very difficult to get guns here. In fact no one can carry a gun outside of their property.

It's sad that this is hardly being covered on news stations.

It's nothing common outside the US either. You can get shot randomly anywhere.

This happens all over the world. It's nothing unique to the States. I don't know where you got this notion from because there's plenty of information out there that says otherwise.
