During a webchat with MSN Music, the stunning young star answered a fan's question about who her current celebrity crush is.
"Niall Horan from One Direction. He's so adorable!" she admitted.
The 18-year-old boyband star must be chuffed with this news, as earlier this year he revealed that Demi is HIS celebrity crush.
"It'd be good - I'd like to see her alright," he said of Demi.
He added: "And she's of a similar age, she seems to be a nice girl."
Not only that, but when Demi recently opened up in the MTV special Demi Lovato Stay Strong, which documented her personal troubles, Niall was one of many celebrities who congratulated her for it on Twitter.
He tweeted: "Just watched Stay strong @ddlovato amazing story."
Given Demi's recent confession about a crush on Niall, can we expect a puppy love romance between these two superstars?
What with Demi's success as a singer and Niall's place in One Direction - who, in case you hadn't heard, are the biggest pop group in the world right now - they could be a star couple to rival even the likes of Brangelina.
