They didn't lie regarding the quality of most of the songs, but empty bubblegum pop is in right now (no shade I'm partial to it myself) so their prediction that her pop career is 'terminal' is probably incorrect.

I agree on a few points: the erratic and sporadic placement of 'Roman', the weak-ass Sex In The Lounge, Champion not having a single decent verse- but to call the RedOne tracks disasters? No. They're fun, care-free, club-ready jams. And Young Forever doesn't sound a damn thing like Love Like Woe.
I'm pressed they didn't review Va Va Voom. It's amazingness alone would have boosted the album to 3 stars....

Do you think that Katy was bothered when Katy was dragged by the critics? No and she even got 6 top 5 hits from that album. It's pretty much the same.
I really think that the reason why ppl are "dragging" the album is because it has more pop/dance sound the PF, if it were more hip hop, R&B, etc they wouldn't have a problem with it.

I mean, Katy must be so pressed that her album tied a legend, went multi platinum, had singles become massive in the US and WW, got multiple nominations for every award show there is, and music videos with a **** load of views on youtbe because one reviewer gave her 1.5 stars.
Her pop tracks are some of the stronger songs on the album!
