Lizzie Grant is rumoured to be considering killing off her Lana Del Rey persona and launching a new pop role.
The singer has previously told how she was unlikely to release another album as Del Rey, and insider rumours suggest she may kill the character - permanently -in a suitably dramatic fashion when she ends her 'Born This Way' campaign. Del Rey was previously seen deceased at the end of her 'Born To Die' video, and the cover of next single 'Blue Jeans' sees the star seemingly unconscious with a man's hand around her neck.
"I don’t think I’ll write another record. What would I say? I feel like everything I wanted to say, I’ve said already," she told Vogue magazine in an interview earlier this year, and the singer is now said to be considering options for her next role.
The 'Blue Jeans' star is said to be wanting to ditch the glossy Del Rey style for something more energetic and considering a futuristic persona, inspired by cult sci-fi movie, Barbarella.
So she is just an act all this time?
