Raspberry Beret I love it, I am here for modern pop which makes good use of baroque instrumentation. I wish Prince made an album of it like Homogenic or Hounds of Love but other than that his discography is excellent.

Prince, truly one of the complete and best examples of the kind of musicians worth stanning for. Ridiculously talented, amazing live performer, controversial for the right reasons, one of the best producers ever, quadruple threat, etc.

I remember my mother playing Prince in the car when I was a kid. I've listened to 7 of his albums and the majority of them were excellent, but I always find myself going back to Purple Rain.

I would love to learn more about his music if anyone feels like posting their favorite songs/performances/albums

Yes its one of my top 5 songs played on itunes tbh I only know a couple Prince tracks but I've been going to my local library and checking out cds of all the great past acts and in a couple weeks I'll check out Prince and have alot more to offer in this thread
