Christina Aguilera isn't the only one that has went back 2 basics
If you have heard OutKast's new album Idlewild you might have noticed this ain't like their other albums instead you have Andre 3000 actually doing a lot more singing than rapping and some of the songs that are on their album sound more like the featured artists songs such as Call The Law, and Greatest Show on Earth. Some of the songs that are on here seem like songs in the 1940s except they are a little bit more beat so I've realized that OutKast's cd sounds different because they are bringing back the blues to music on their new CD.
Well yeah, the whole film is based around that era. But it'll be interesting to see how people compare the two albums seeing as though they're both throwbacks to the same past era.

Wasn't Alicia Keys first with her Songs in A Minor album?
^NO. There are blues singers still around that sing like Alicia. & Songs in A Minor is contemporary. It was like mainstream blues. They just aren't popular because that type of music isn't mainstream. Look up Susan Tedeschi, and Amos Lee(he's more folk though).
