Most people outside ATRL don't give two ****s if someone has more Grammys that the other. They just care about the music and the songs.

Actually I think BECAUSE of Madonna's name, they were too nice on it. If Gaga, Rihanna, or Katy were to release that album, it would have been universally panned.

I wouldn't exactly say that. I'm sure that some people would be bumping to it and calling it the best thing since sliced bread. It can work both ways. They can love it because of Madonna, and they can hate it because of her, without even giving it an actual chance.

Yes they do. Every time Beyonce makes a tv appearance they announce it as a part of her intro, and I see people say "Wow Beyonce has 16 grammys" .
Madonna is the best "popstar" but she's not the most talented. Her talent comes a dime a dozen, but it's what she did with the decent talent that makes her extraordinary.

If MDNA were released by any basic bitch, the critics would be praising so many of the songs for being risky and intelligent.

It's strange, she's the one with the most Grammy's yet she's not seen as a Grammy act like Alicia Keys, Norah Jones and Sarah McLachlan.

You really don't get it.
You STATE Britney has more iconic songs like if it was gospel. I say "No bitch" and the only mesures are grammys which your girl doesn't possess.
Britney has less iconic songs than Beyoncé. And everything seems to lean towards MY OPINION.

I still love MDNA. It might be because it's been 4 years since some GOOD (Don't get me started on the hot messes that "Celebration" and "Revolver" are) new material has been released.
"Gang Bang", though it may sound like it's trying too hard to be risque, has an amazing beat, and is quite a new sound for the music industry these days.
"Some Girls" is great, as is.
Most of the songs are.
She is not that TALENTED, vocally, but productively and creatively, she is, by far, the most talented artist in the business.
Any of you guys mentioning another artist in here (I see you, Lipton + the Monsters) need to shut up. This is about Madonna. Sahn didn't lie (I honestly hate that saying, but finally, it fits). However, it's not a FACT that she is the most talented artist, but there's hardly any denying about how talented she is, considering her impact, creativity and such.
Anyone arguing against any of this really needs to rethink about their own arguments.

Because she's more than that.
This is the reason why she's not seen as a endorsement queen.
This is the reason why she's not seen as a multimillionaire wife.
This is the reason why she's not seen as the best vocalist of her generation.
This is the reason why she's not seen as the best dancer of her generation.
This is the reason why she's not seen as the most beautiful chick in the game.

I would never make fun of a song like Falling Free, even if it was released by Nicki Minaj. No sir.

Exactly. The average person doesn't know (nor care) about how many awards said artist has. They look really redundant when they always predictably bring it up in arguments.

Still about 15 years.
He didn't manage to stay in business.
He let other things ruin him... (besides the quality of music going downhills)
If he was more talented (overall), he'd find a way to "come back swinging".
I really love Michael, but when it comes to "overall" department, Madonna wins easily.

Please we mention other artists cause this thread is a joke. A "singer" who can neitheir carry a tune neither lay it the **** down dance wise cannot be considered as the most talented popstar EVER.
She's the most intelligent to me, I can give her that but stop, no one thinks that. Even Sahn knows the true tea.

So you are basically confirming OP's argument.
Because Madonna is all those things + so much more than Beyonce could ever be.
I won't even bother listing them, because it will make people's eyes bleed. The list is too long.

Beyonce has 4 iconic songs and that's being generous. Britney have SEVERAL WW iconic songs, and Grammys are irrelevant as an argument to this subject.
