Being someone who has done a psychology degree I know exactly what she meant and she is still wrong. The correlation between violent movies and video games and violence in young people is practically non-existent.

People know the difference between right and wrong and if they have a fundamental problem understanding that killing another human being is wrong then they would have been ****ed up movies or not.

The movie is actually very sad but everyone knows that so I don't understand why people are worried about violence. I mean there's much worst out there. I don't know if it's perfectly shown in the film because I read the books so even the things they forgot/did not include is in my mind. I feel like it's a great but sad and brutal metaphor with what's happening in real life/hollywood everything appears good & perfect but but in reality it's ****ed & everything is just made for entertainment (hollywood)/for show (real life). I think the games concept was still kinda weird and brutal esp when you read the books but the survival of the fittest idea is just a perfect example especially since we might actually face total food crisis in the future.
