And Rich Harrison did make Soldier...I dont know if u conveniently forgot to prove a point but that song is a complete 180 degree turn of some of his work.

lol, those songs were great, but it was who sung them that made them popular, not the song itself (as in Beyonce and Amerie). There are just some songs out there where you know that it wasn't just the artist, but the producer as well that made it great. For example, "Promiscuous" was great because of Timbaland, as well as Nelly Furtado.

co-sign. rich harrison is nice on the production, making him my second favorite urban producer. like every other producer, he has his own signature style & sound (funky fresh). i love this dude work & can't wait to hear what he's done on beyonce's 'b'day'.

There was a hip hop article a while back that said that Harrison's beats were inspired by Primo's beats. & Go-Go beats do sound the same. There's variations of it but it's all similar-TRASH.

Um, even as a Beyonce fan; I DO know that "Freekum Dress" & "Suga Mama" clips are beyond horrid. The full songs better not be as bad as those clips or I wont be buying. I can always just burn it later in the year....
Wow. Big exaggeration. God forbid if most producers want to produce their own signature sound. The tracks have some silimarities but they are not the exact same.

I agree wuth this thread completely. The fact that everyone seeks out the same producers is what makes the radio as bad as it is today. Nobody takes chances. (except Baby Jane most recently... that album is fire)
Neptunes , Timbaland They all have what you call "signature" , when you hear any song by them ,you say "Yeah..That's Timba" . But they aren't desperate to go with the hit-formula sample over and over and over.
Especially when you do 2 songs in one album that sound identically the same.
I admit that he made one of the best songs ,but c'mon when you become desperate just fu.ckin retire.
