Have y'all not heard the first 6 songs on the album? "Old Nicki" is still very much present. Yes, she's playing around with new sounds and trying to expand her audience, but she's still the same person she used to be - and the same artist she used to be.

!!! Itty Bitty Piggy basically made me a stan, and I'll always put it above all other songs, regardless of if it truly deserves it. And RapGenius has played such a huge role.

It's really not that hard to wrap your head around tbh. She's always liked pop music, and when the time came that she had established a strong urban audience, it only seemed logical to start expanding into mainstream territory and experimenting with other sounds. Why would anyone want her career to be static and never evolve?
