The used games market is hurting the industry. Sony AND MICROSOFT are both under pressure by publishers to put a stop to it. Hell, Microsoft was rumoured to be releasing the next Xbox with download only games, no physical disc media at all.

I doubt this will happen

It will hurt the sales of both the consoles if they don't allow used games to be played... people will just stick with what they got
