I know a lot of us, including myself, have said that the reason the BTW singles didn't take off like they should have was because the music was too different and not generic enough. Well, what happens if Gaga releases new music that is radio-friendly and hit-worthy and the public still doesn't take to it? Have any of us thought about that? What would that mean? That would mean that the public isn't here for her, right? I guess if the song is catchy enough, it won't matter and the public will like it either way, but I don't know.

Her first single will most likely take off regardless because of her name. This time around the imbalance of momentum from Judas kinda thew off the era. If she can release a good lead single (while managing not to hype up the album too much), the second single will probably be fine. I also think Gaga will bring around radio friendly music this time around and probably even have some songs that are very much like BTW too.
