just cause a single was the first successful one doesnt necessarily mean it was the one that made them household names.... hmmm example quit playing games by bsb was their most successfull billboard wise... but I Want It That Way was the one that did it for them...

just my experience ok... so dont take it like its the fact but when ive mentioned Jewel to an average music fan... its always ohhh that "Hands" singer.... and Mariah may have had several #1s in America before "Hero" but that song was definitely the one that brought it for her. So much success with the song internationally and THAT SONG did most of the work to get her her best selling album world wide... sooo yeah

but then again this topic is pretty debatable...soooo yeah DREAMSTREET ALL THE WAY!!!

I think that was her first single, no? But You Were Meant For Me totally made her a household name. That or Foolish Games.
