They're arguably the biggest boyband at the moment, so their fans are obviously bound to be hyped up.
But One Direction's management could be being a little over-protective on their U.S. tour. The boys will reportedly have 20 bodyguards each during their stay in Dallas.
Sources told website TMZ that a security team of 100 had been assigned to protect the group for their performance in Dallas which is only supposed to last 45 minutes.
They are scheduled to play just four songs for a crowd of about 7,000 at the Dr Pepper Ballpark.
I was watching some videos of them meeting fans at the meet and greet in Dallas and those security guards were pretty aggressive with the girls who were trying to hug the boys. Too much

Caught your edit I like the way it was the first time.
It was just too much! There's not much harm in a hug. But regardless of security behavior the boys were paying the fans DUST at that Dallas signing.
It's their label. They're literally not allowed to hug their fans during signings or even pay attention to them. In order to get everyone through the line, it's sign and go.
