No. Canada, the USA, and Mexico are North America, and Brazil is in South America.

Asia (India IS apart of Asia)

Australia
Antarctica
If you combine NA and SA, as some do, they become the sub-continents of America.
If you combine Europe and Asia, which isn't really a strech, they become the sub-continents of Eurasia.
Doing either or both will leave you with 6 and 5 continents respectively. No matter how you choose to count them, There will still be 7 individual continents when it all boils down to it.
There shouldn't be that MANY different anwers. The only debate is North & South America which is a US thing and Australia being called Oceania, either of them is correct. The definite answer is 6.
