I love alot of the stuff they put out, but I don't know if I'm really feelin their latest stuff. Morris Brown, The Mighty O, and Idlewild are all pretty mediocre to me. Anyone else feelin the same?
YES THANKYOU! ... their new stuff sucks. I think they'r taking their creativity a little to far thinking they can release anything since they're last album was so successful. I don't think I'm gonna buy this album or take it seriously. I'm gonna pretend all these songs off this album are the leftovers from past albums and that their actual studio album will put them back on track. But yeah... they're new stuff is TRASH.
I hated Mighty O at first but then I heard it on the radio later and it sounded so good. I love that song now along with Idlewild Blues and Morris Brown. I'm lookin forward to their album now. Hip Hop as a whole hasn't impressed me much this year so even if Outkast stuff is "mediocore" is alot betta than the rest of the crap they play on radio.
Hey, it's Outkast. What did you expect from them? They always try something new and expand your horizon. I caught the last bit of the Idlewild Blues video and I love it along with the song! Morris Brown is great along with Mighty O.
Outkast, Outkast, Outkast... I like the songs, "Morris Brown" and "Idlewild Blues", but I do like their stuff better from Speakerboxxx/the Love Below because it as whole sounded better. Anyone who doesn't like their new stuff has to realize that this album isn't just an Oukast album, it was created for one of the sole purposes of probably promoting the movie, Idlewild. I mean obviously their music is to promote the movie, but I think that Outkast just wanted to go do something different and not just throw big hits out and blow up, but they wanted to stay a little conservative and try to create a different Oukast fan base to buy the album and to go see the movie (my opinion).
