This is what I mean. Like, someone that doesn't stan for Gaga saying that they're excited for the new era. I'm curious, would you have been as excited for the next era if Gaga was STILL overexposed and in your face everywhere you looked this year like she was the last three years?

Yes she needed a break. People are already starting to miss her so once she starts hyping the new record people will be dying for some new Gaga. If she is indeed going back to her TFM days subject matter-wise her new music will definitely be met with acclaim from both the public & the critics.

It kills me to say this, but I hope the break lasts for a few more months... I think it will help her a lot!!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY GIRL TO SMASH AGAIN NEXT ERA!!!

Not a fan of Gaga but I think a break isn't a bad thing. I don't think it's healthy for your career to be everywhere 24/7 for every year. People get tired of you when you're constantly being talked about and I think that's how you lose fans. Of course your true fans will stick by you, but when you're overexposed, it's more so of career kill. I'm proud of Gaga for taking a break -- and even so she's not really taking a break seeing as she's doing her world tour.

Breaks are a good thing. I honestly can't think of one celebrity who has had like a 20 year career where they were constantly in the spot light every month of every year for the whole 20 year career. Doesn't even sound right when I type it.

I still don't really see the break because she's prepping a huge worldwide tour and has still done interviews this year - including one with Oprah - but I digress. Either way, a break can't hurt.

Doesn't make a difference. And she's about to go on tour. She'll still be around traveling the world and performing. It's not like she's sitting at home doing nothing, or on a private resort island sipping champagne. She's still working.

True but I think Gaga only became overexposed in the US. Asia stans HARD for her, which is probably why it was really smart of her to kick off her tour there and not in the US. By the time she comes around to America, the GP will probably be ready for this new era.
