Stacie Joy Orrico (born March 3, 1986) is a female American CCM/Pop singer. She was discovered at a Christian talent contest when she was in her early teens and has since released two successful albums, with a third album coming out on Jan. 9th 2007.

Stacie Orrico got her start in 1998 at the age of 12 by attending a Christian music festival, Praise in the Rockies, held in her then-home state of Colorado. Orrico inadvertently entered a high-stakes talent competition, and won. A ForeFront Records executive was on hand and approached her for a record deal (she eventually did sign with them).

Since then, she has released two albums. The first was Genuine, created at the young age of fourteen. It sold over 13,000 copies in the first week, the highest debut week sales ever for a female Christian artist.

I loved "(There's Gotta Be) More to Life"... I hope she continues bridgin the gap between christian contemporary and pop.

She's one of my favorite artists. I truly think she's a great and rare talent. I was wondering when her album would come out,so thanks for posting the info.

She is underrated. I hope she gains more fans this time around.

I like Stacie. She's really talented. But I don't like how on Stacie Orrico her music was in-between Christian and Pop music. I don't like artists that do that. I like her though. She can really sing. I prefer her as a Christian artist.

I didn't know she had a connection with Colorado. Stacie is a good female-solo artist, but I think her 2003 singles are her best pieces of music she's ever done. (With respect to her earlier work that I've yet to hear.)

I like More To Life a lot.

I haven't heard much of her.

She is one of my favorite artists and truly underrated. She has TONS Of potential, but doesn't seem to garner the attention she deserves, as she puts out either gospel music (which I don't follow) or pure pop music.

I can't stop listening to "Take Me Away" from her new album.

I love her,but I'm so dissapointed that she pushed the release date of her new CD to January 2007,when it was supposed to come out August 29th 2006.WTF!?!?!?!?

I like her alot. She's pretty good! So sad she mentions god in most of her songs that sucks...

Oh and i forgot the Stacie Orrico album was certified Gold..

She hasn't shown much growth in her songs, "I'm Not Missing You" sounds like it could be on her previous albums

Darn it, her album was delayed until January 9th, 2007.

I think she is one of the most talented artists out there. Hopefully "I'm Not Missing You" will do well on the countdown if it ever premeires.

I wish that she did not push her cd back,but maybe it's a good sign and leaves things open for her to promote herself more.

She pushed it back because too many big artists were releasing around the same time as her. (ex. Beyonce, Fergie, Christina Aguilera)

I liked her in 2003, i don't like her new song that much.

I had such a strong obsession with this girl several years ago lol. I still have alot of respect for her. I own both of her studio albums, "Genuine" & her self-titled, mainstream breakthrough. Very good albums, btw.
