Ashanti stepped out of the girl-next-door stereotype that she is often boxed into, revealing secrets about her sex life.
The R&B princess recently gave an interview to promote her new single 'The Woman You Love', but the conversation recently delved into her dating life.
When asked if she has sex on the first date, Ashanti told Hot 107.9 in Philadelphia: "Nah, you’re waiting almost a year. It’s not going that easy."
She was then questioned about the maintenance of her lady parts and revealed that she prefers "landing strip[s], as long as it’s cute, nice and neat."
While she didn't make it clear whether or not she is single, or in fact dating rapper Nelly as rumours have suggested for years, Ashanti shared her preference in men. "You have to have nice lips. You have to have a nice mouth. You have to smell good. I like a good cologne; not like really strong," she said.
Ashanti was finally quizzed on her favourite sexual position, to which she replied: "How can I say this nicely and politically? I like to stand on top of things."
