I just watched it. She catches her boyfriend cheating, breaks up with him, then goes to the gas station to get a drink. After buying the drink she sees a sign supporting women to go in the marines. She goes into the bathroom, cuts a lot of her hair off in the sink, and fixes her bra, puts on a hoodie, so she looks like a guy. Then it goes to her training for the marines with other women and men, with occasional flashbacks of her being happy with her boyfriend. Overall it's about Katy being a strong woman.
I remember seeing a gay kid on YouTube doing a lip-syncing video to the demo. She should have just remade that video, it was a lot better (and would have been a lot cheaper too).
I love this song, but she's ****ed up all post-Week 1 promo. The performances are awful, she can't sing it properly, her kinda-dancing is awful, the video is crap, and the only real highlight has been her jiggling her titties.
I'm not even going to start on the bizarre tan she has in this video, and how plastic/dead her eyes look.
It wasn't horrible, but it just looked like they rushed it and they didn't conceptualize that much.
