I lived in Minnesota my whole life, winter every year. I think I know how it's like driving in snow. Look up "Black Ice" we get it every year and thousands of people EVERY year still end up in the ditch regardless how many times they encounter snow in their life here.
Maybe they were texting, maybe not. But the facts are there. It could either be black ice or fault of texting.
Which by the way, in the Winter I barely/rarely ever text. The roads are too risky to text on. I only text in the other seasons.
