Why is Skin so flawless???

"Secret Garden" is fantastic.

No other pop divas (except maybe Janet) have ever come close to matching songs like this or "Mer Girl" in terms of sheer artistic credibility and profundity.

That's why I love Madonna.... She's like accessible but she also has artistic credibility and innovation/creativity.

These two songs just reminded me that I really love Madonna.

True Blue is filled with HITS - and some of them are true pop masterpieces. It's fascinating that it puts together in a single album so many of Madonna's best songs ever. You don't get to see that everyday.

For me it's a big improvement from Like a Virgin, since they really reduced the amount of fillers.

''True Blue'' is ''Like A Virgin'' done about a million times better. They're both still very good albums.
I have to confess my adoration for ''Madonna'' (the 1st album), though. Every song is just ****ing amazing. It's one of my favourite albums by the Queen. There I said it.

This somehow got me inspired to listen to ''Ray Of Light'' now. Which makes me doubt the choices I made above. OH WELL.

Super Pop is ****ing flawless up until that president/different rhymes come up.

Yes, it is! The leftovers from ''Confessions ...'' and ''American Life'' are some of her best. Some worth checking out are ''Triggering Your Senses'', ''History'', ''Miss You'', ''Is This Love (Bon d'Accord)'', ''It's So Cool''....

This version of Rain is beautiful

That version of ''Rain'' is a bit meh. I much prefer the album version. One of her best '90 singles.
