The Express Yourself-esque intro. The closest thing we can get to nudity in a pop video. The gratuitous gay **** imagery. The cross-dressing. Madonna dancing/writhing with the boys. The apple.
She's totally just thrown down the gauntlet for Kylie.
So will there be controversy about shameless religion-bashing again? Will people slam her for pandering to the gays for sales and not really caring about them?
Or might there be a bit of a double standard?
Using a pre-made gay troupe of dancers who always perform in heels is more about setting a trend than pandering. She wasn't pandering to black transsexuals when she did Vogue. Madonna has subtly but openly supported the gays her entire career without screaming her love for them at every chance.

Yea I was definitely seeing a few Gaga references in it. The Born This Way video, the Alejandro video, the BTW/TEOG single covers pose at the end of the Madonna video. At this point, i'm not sure who is copying who.
However, i do know that this video is better than any of the BTW era videos.
Well this is quite an a-maay-zungg video. I love the gay imagery and the references to her 90's (mostly ''Sex'' and ''Human Nature'', but the intro is actually a nod to ''The Blond Ambition Tour'' too.
It's fair to say this has been her most solid video run since ''Music'' back in 2000.
