Why the comparison?

I loved Marina first and I relate to her music more.

They're so different, why compare them? Though I vastly prefer Marina.

Lana

Yeah Lana is so much better than Marina, in every way [other than stage presence, voice, imagery, album concepts, personality, style, sound, fan-base, lyrical-content...]

Marina hasn't really clicked for me. I tried listening to her material a while ago, but I never returned to her music after that initial listen.

I like what she does though.

I only use like 2 or 3 songs from Marina, while I use most of Lana tracks, so that must answers your question

at Lana winning. The only thing she has over Marina is looks. The only thing she really succeeds at is using the same phrases and atmosphere in every song she does.

Marina has a better voice, better song-writing, better ideas, better production, and is overall just more entertaining. She's a lot more likable as a person as well.

Lana is pretty, but personally I would take Marina over her in a heartbeat (if only I were so lucky to have such choices to make....)

Marina is amazing, but I need to get more into her discography first I suppose. Electra Heart will slay lives though, so maybe I'll change my vote after the release.

Lana. I like Marina, but she reminds me of Sky Ferreira way too much. It seems all done before.

Lana is great, but Marina's "The Family Jewels" is the best album of the last 14 years. You have to go back to Massive Attack's "Mezzanine" for it to be equaled. Marina is also a far, far better singer. In fact, she's just about the best there is.
