That happens to be one of my favorite songs. Utada will always have the better voice in my opinion, but i do happen to love Ayumi as well.
lol, Kworb, Ayumi Hamasaki's best song is NOT "M." If I had to choose, I think I'd go with "Dearest." ahh, and Mel, Plain White T's? I first heard them last year and "Delilah" has become quite the song, although some of their fans don't seem to know any other of their songs except this one...convert Mel. Utada>Ayumi. It's Ayu's style that is appealing to you isn't it?
Actually, if i had to give a reason, i'd have to say that it's her songs that appeal to me. Sure, i find her style to be amazing, but i think the backround music in a lot of her songs are just so... interesting. I love the melodies. I do think that Utada is more talented, ground-breaking, and original, though.
And i've been into the Plain White T's for some time now. I hadn't listened to them in a while, and i just recently started listening to that song again.

lol, you, Kworb and I need to take this up in a chat sometime. Perhaps you guys can convince me to listen to Ayu more. There really hasn't been anything of hers, thus far, that has me, but perhaps you can assist that? The only other artist that took me ages to tolerate was Koda Kumi...so we'll see if this works out. Plain White T's...they are iight to me, but they kind of seem like a generic, Christian band. I prefer Relient K in that category.
