And whoever said James Brown and Prince were better than Michael need to take a seat. Prince wiggling across the stage cannot come for Michael. What Michael did was so...magical. What Prince did was...well..like watching a raunchy little midget in drag hump around a stage. No foul no shade. As for James Brown he was the predecessor yes, but Michael took from him and did it even bigger and better.

In the end, it falls on who can strip away the props, strip away the costumes, and simply slay. Michael and Beyonce could do that, as for people like Janet and Tina Turner.

Madonna without all her props and gimmicks would be lackluster in comparison.

I find it extremely odd that whenever someone asked who would outperform the other if you strip everything away onstage you automatically go this statement about Beyoncé being the better vocalist. Weren't you trying to debate that performing was more than simply singing? This statement conflicts with your argument and going by that logic you're implying that performing = singing which obviously makes Beyoncé the better performer.

And your opinion on who is the better artist is totally unrelated to performing.

According to her stans, most concepts, ideas and executions are hers. You can never be 100% sure in the the end and this is where raw talents have another advantage; they're instantly visible to everyone.

Although, I don't believe any visual artist can throw some props around for any pop girl and they'll do it as well as Madonna (this is not in response to what you said btw). She knows how to cobble everything together and basically mold her performances around them, they don't feel like out of place at all nor it feels like she's using props just for the hell of it.

Prince was also magical. Prince's goal as opposed to Michael was not to create a spectacle but to make a musical experience.
There is no reason to compare someone who crafted all his shows around how many instruments he would play and how magically and musically the songs will flow together to someone whose prime concert was to make great dance moves and who did hours and hours rehearsing them.

Overrated by whom? Apart from the world tour, a few passable Tyler Perry films, a certain someone's death & a few average albums she's barely been in the public eye for just under a decade.

We all know she doesn't sing live most of the time as well. Although I do think it's made up by the high level of intricate choreography she can still pull off at her age night after night.

First time I've ever seen Janet called overrated. Y'all can't call her overrated then "drag" her by saying that she lives in Michael's shadow.

WHAT THE **** ? IN YOUR DREAMS ! The Britney Spears of 2000-2004 is just...most legendary than beyonce, Britney was just amazing in the past, Xtina, Lady Gaga and Madonna are very good entertainers too...
