My only problem is the fact that straight male posters here think that it's perfectly okay to sexually degrade female pop stars on a regular basis. It's really, really anti-woman.
You shouldn't be judging people on this forum for how long they have been here, and that is what bothers me about some senior posters. They automatically look down upon those who have been on this forum remarkably less than themselves, as if it's some crime.. Everyone was a new member once, and I doubt people who sign up on this forum in 2014 would like 2011 members to look down upon them would they? It's not nice or very welcoming.

This year has been great the only exception being the general overkill of Katy Perry discussion in SYG. It's could be just me though. Other than that it's been quite enjoyable and a definite improvement on '10 and '11.
Well I literally just signed up a few months ago. I joined because I love music (hence my avi) and I like discussing it. Of course when I joined I realized not every1 here was like me lol A lot of people here are judgmental for no reason lol (that happens anywhere u go in life but it's a little more ridiculous on here sometimes) lol
Nothing is permanent. We're having a lot of discussions right now about the recent and future changes. Just have some patience as we experiment and observe. We truly mean well.

I agree that being banned or getting a Warning Point is the consequence of one's actions.
But should someone be banned or get a Warning Point for praising their fave, or expressing opinions
about music, or artist in general?
The ones that don't agree with the "opinion" or the "praise" will quickly hop to to WP button

Members that are actually nice get banned left and right, but those that honestly cause trouble stay here, all smug that they haven't been banned, and continue to troll and seem stupid.
Then Base opens up. Seriously? If anything, Base is not needed.
And then closing Irrelevants United? This is ridiculous. Those threads were okay, they didn't cause trouble, yet horrendous threads like Dirty Talk remain here.

I think "Base" should be divided into two boards / sections
a) "Base" - called as it's now - one thread for one artist
b) "Discussions" - all discussions and poll threads like "Best 3rd album?" or "Biggest Female Rap Hits EVER! "
It would help a lot with clarity cos it's a mess there now.
