Two great women who were rivals. Brit had a hard time in 2007 (at least not until she released the amazing Blackout); and Christina became ATRL's punching bag. They both have had their ups and downs; but who had the bigger 'down' ?

Britney: Divorce, drug rehabilitation, shaving her head, a critically panned performance, losing physical custody of her children, etc (2007)

Christina: Bionic, divorce, getting arrested, the "period" incident at Etta James' funeral, messing up on the national anthem at the Super Bowl, etc (2010-2012)

Anyways, keep it cute gurls. This is not a flamebait thread; just wondering who ATRL thinks had the biggest melt/breakdown.

Clearly Britney had the biggest fall from grace and the world got to witness it all.

Christina once said she literally ran down the street hysterically crying because she felt overwhelmed with life and felt betrayed by some people. Obviously her "breakdown" wasn't as bad as Britney but Christina def. has went through her emotional pain, and she still is going through it.

Notice I put "period". Half of the people who watched that performance thought she was on her period.

Britney. Her popularity just fell so steeply from 2004 to 2007. You cant really call that christina's breakdown since it was just about a flop comeback.

I didn't even know Christina was married... but Britney's. That was everywhere. Christina's was just online.

I cannot believe you're comparing Britney shaving her head, beating paparazzi with umbrellas, being carried away with lost eyes on a stretcher, being placed on a 5150 hold, her obituary being published while she was living and breathing, among other things, to that.

Also, Britney didn’t ‘lose’ custody of the boys since she was never forced to give them to Kevin. She wanted to do it because she was going through the worst time of her life and she wanted them to be unaffected.
