We Belong Together - Mariah Carey

The video shows Mariah in a wedding gown (same gown she wore on her wedding with Tommy Mottola on 1993) preparing for her nuptial with a man she doesn't really love. As she walks down the aisle, along comes her real lover portrayed by Prison Break hottie, Wentworth Miller, and she decides to go with him and they run away from the wedding.
The video is cute with Mariah's usual strip teases but I don't think it's anything special. What makes it interesting though is that it's a sequel to the video for Mariah's previous single, It's Like That, where their love story began. And it served as the video to a very successful and record-breaking song.
I guess the video was critically acclaimed because it was nominated for Best R&B Video and Best Female Video at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards.

The video is nice and it has a message to say. It has an intriguing ending because it wasn't revealed what the people were looking up to in the sky. Now if only Trousersnake was in the video too.
It made it?

Shakira once again showcases her dancing skills in this badass video. It's festive and features lots of dancing people and a ******** choreography.
The video won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography and #2 on VH1's Top 40 Videos of 2006.

Katy Perry stuns us with her visuals for E.T. It is set in outer space where she still looks like an alien and then later on she morphs to half-human-half-deer and kisses her albino lover in a post-apocalyptic setting.
I'd have to say the video is really eye-catching and stunning. The effects worked well and o did her make-up. In fact, it received nods from various sites as it is Fuse's 96th Sexiest Video of All Time and winning two (Best Collaboration and Best Special Effects) out of 5 nominations at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.

YESS! It's Britney's 1st entry!
The video is emotional and surprisingly controversial because of its Kaballic and Catholic references. Like her Lucky video, it was prophetic and somehow predicted what would happen to her life years later.
The video is one of my fave Britney videos because it shows a different, more vulnerable side of her.
Too low as well.

Gwen is just so sexy without even trying. The video shows her with a marching band and all. Pharrell even made a cameo.
The video is #5 on VH1's Top 40 Videos of 2005. And at the 2005 MTV Music Video Awards, won Best Choreography out of four nominations.

The video is ****in' awesome! It's her very own version of Alice in Wonderland! Every scene is truly magical! And the intro is very cinematic. Should have been higher to be honest. And I'm kinda thinking this is GaGa's inspiration for her Marry the Night video.
The video won Best Art Direction and nominated for Best Editing at the 2005 MTV Music Awards.

The 2011 videos domination continues. Party Rock Anthem is a parody of the horror film 28 Days Later with "shuffle" zombies as antagonists.
The rest of the video is pretty much dancing. The set is really nice as it's effectively post-apocalyptic and everyone's wardrobe is astounding.
The video now has around 400 million views on Youtube. And did you know that the "shuffle" we know now is actually an Australian dance style known as the Melbourne Shuffle and The Running Man with a mix of US hip-hop.

My fave Janet video!
The video's just smooth and easy and nice and comfy and soft and IDK but it's very lovable.
The video was nominated for Video of the Year, Best Female Video, Best Dance Video, and Best Choreography at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards.
Fun video!
So far: The list sucks, the fact that Mariah is too low and won't have more appeareances, same for Gwen and pink and the fact that LMFAO's video is higher than Everytime or Hips Don'T lie is completely ridiculous.
