It took quite a while, but Halle Berry is finally, officially signed up for the upcoming thriller The Hive.
Berry, who has been attached to the project for some time, will play a 911 emergency operator trying to help a teenage girl against a killer.
Director Brad Anderson, perhaps best known for the Christian Bale drama The Machinist and several episodes TV shows, will helm The Hive.
Oscar winner Berry was most recently seen in New Year's Eve and headlines the soon-to-be-released thriller Dark Tide. She'll appear in Cloud Atlas later this year, alongside Tom Hanks.
God knows she needs one. I always wondered how her career would have fared if she never did Catwoman. I mean her performance in Monster's Ball was overrated but she really deserved better than where she's at now.
