Christina Aguilera: "I Have No Interest In Working With The Neptunes"
Bored by the cookie cutter sound of radio caca, Christina Aguilera reached out to DJ Premier to give her latest LP a different flavor. "He searches through his vinyl, finds the obscure pieces and reinvents the old," Aguilera told the New York Times. "You never know if you're going to vibe with someone, but we immediately hit it off."
Not getting a call from the former dirrty girl were everybody's hitmakers Chad and Pharrell. "I have no interest in working with the Neptunes. A lot of what's on the radio sounds the same because everyone is using the same producers. Music is suffering because nobody wants to step out on a limb and go for something different. Everyone wants to stay in their safety box."
Aguilera's first album in four years, 'Back to Basics,' is a double, due in bins Aug. 15. "I did kind of shoot myself in the foot, because it costs more to put out a double album, and the label isn't always so happy about that, and statistically they don't sell as well," Aguilera said, "but I think it's important to be fearless whenever you're doing something for your art."

This is why I despise her as a person. The interviewer NEVER brings it up, its always her.
She just never knows when to keep her mouth shut.
One of these days someone is going to beat the **** out of her

She isn't dissing the Neptunes or anyone for that matter. She is just stating the facts.

She should be respected for this comment. & she and Pharrell are cool btw, I've seen them together. She doesn't want to take the easy route and work w/ someone who'll guarantee her success. She helped a struggling producer. No one else was helping DJ Premier. She put him back on the map. She wasn't saying that Neptunes weren't good producers, she knows that they are good. She just doesn't need them to make quality albums. & she said that she didn't want to work w/ the Neptunes numerous times before during the Stripped era. Pharrell probably knows this.

In my opinion, DJ Premiere was doing great without the Aguilera song, not that it's hurting him.. He's a very great producer and he drops a mixtape like every other week so don't say he's a struggling producer cause he isn't, Pancosonic. He was never off the map to begin with.

she did not say anything, of course people that like the neptunes are going to get offended by the point of that Christina aguilera said she does not like the same old music, she was not dissing them, she was just stating that they make the same old music......Christina is stating her opinion just like everyone else, everyone just tryies to make another artist look bad.......I don't really care if she meant it in a bad way, but from what I read, it does not sound bad, stop exagerating people.......

Umm I know that but you said he had fallen off the map and that's just not the fact cause it's not true.

Lookin' to tha future
Whut Up my people...sorry im been gone so long but a hard workin man like myself gotta make these records so that you the listener can be fed some pure uncut raw hip hop tha way itz supposed to be cooked. Not only that, I have been bacc on the road with SCION doin some DJ gigs....First I did Wash. D.C. , St. Louis, and Detroit. As usual, the shows were bangin and I followed it up rite here in Brooklyn at the Triple Crown Bar....That was like a concert, the crowd was lined up around the door and I was blown away by the amount of love and respect I received for getting my scratch, cut, and mix on..Big up to Jeru The Damaja who was there for a few to checc thangs out....For all of you who had time to chill and get ur cue on, (Bar-B-Cue ...am I being too Black rite now?), I had to be in the studio finishing the last two Christina Aguilera joints for her album which comes out on August 15, 2006....Believe me, she made me a fan once I heard the album. No joke, its really that good..I did 5 joints on it and im proud of every one of them..Shes tha ****. Got mad love for her and her husband Jordy for putting me where I need to be....And Jordy gets xtra thanx for hookin me up with the recent Wal-Mart commercials that ran on BET during the awards last week.. Oh yeah, I do commercials too. Versatility is key in this business, and im all that and then some....Big Shug is also on the voiceovers for them and we still keep it HIP HOP when we get busy. Now, be on tha lookout for the new Blaq Poet joint called VOICES. Its so ghetto, that only real people can relate to this **** here. I feel sorry for the new batch of artists and producers that think they can rock like me this year and next year.....Im gonna be so strong with music(Damn!! I gotta take a second to breathe). Big up to Agallah who laced me for the TEF LP with a dope remix. He gave us a tracc years ago and unfortunately, Memph Bleek and M.O.P. did the same tracc by coincidence and we had to change ours......All good. Bleeks my man.BTW.....im goin in with The Mash Out Posse finally this coming week to start updating their album and getting the show on the road......Be on the lookout for my followup MIX CD to "GOD vs THE DEVIL" entitled "Tell The Truth"....I promised Gordon that I would have it ready by the end of the 4th of July weekend....I gotta start bangin them at least once a month....i love makin them still after all these years. Lookout for the new J. Hood joint I did called Never Be(well thats the tentative title)....New AZ-The Format....Big up to Termanology for the Hip Hop Quotable in The Source Magazine for our song "Watch How It Go Down". Big up to Statik Selektah. Oh and cant 4 get my SCION DJs that rocked with me(DJ SCENE, Platurn from the Oakland Faders).
Till next BLOG STAY REAL....HEAD UP, EYES AND EARS OPEN!!!!!!
WORD IS BOND !!!!!!!

Why can't she just on with her career without talking about other people or producers. Is she that deperate to get her name in the papers? People don't really care Christina.

And to add to this statement, I think Christina is afraid that no ONE cares about her (besides Pancosonic).

There's no need to acknowledge this ignorance. She will be successful anyway.
Well everybody got an opinion now, don't they
But it aint no thang to me
it really don't make any difference now to me
if you don't like what you see
I pay no mind to the negative kind
cause it's just no way to be
i don't stop to please someone else you see
Gonna live my life for me
I'm gonna get bold, gonna do my own thing
We all got a song that we're meant to sing
and no matter what people say, or might think
I aint going no place, no I'm here to stay
Gonna keep on doing my thing
Cause whether they love or they're hatin' on me
I'll still be the same girl I used to be
Lyrics from Here to Stay. She obviously doesn't care. & I don't care if other people don't like her. She got it worse when Dirrty came out. Stripped still did exceptionally well. Who cares. I'm used to people not liking her.

Well no one does care about her outside of her fanbase. She has ZERO interest outside of that. And she should just accept that and try to make her music. She just isnt a note worthy celebrity and never has been. Not all artist are and they are still successful.
But she will keep this up though. And now she wonders why she was tortured at high school.
