I just can't imagine someone buying a CD from an artist they probably don't even like (If they do they would have bought it anyway, right?) just because their fave tweeted about it, at most they would have probably downloaded it illegally or just listened to it on Spotify
I mean, I understand why some people think this thread is ridiculous but 1k really isn't that many. One of the posts on the first page sums it up pretty nicely saying that it's not completely delusional to think some checked for his album because of Gaga's reminder.
