Pop/R&B compo "Too Little Too Late," co-written/produced by master scribe Billy Steinberg, provides desperately needed balance to a top 40 landscape that is lacking a lot in the way of singable melodies. Vocally, the "Leave (Get Out)" girl shows growth with some weeper high notes and appreciable chirps, while the melody is a keeper. It really is probably the best song of the summer for me (well, besides "Promiscuous") ... it is a breath of fresh air for radio and it better be massive!

How is it that a 15 year old can come out with such a quality track? No clue really but this girl is HERE TO STAY.

I've already mentioned this in another thread, but I thought this song was going to be a lot worse than it actually was.

It still has a lot of ProTools-like sounds, which I always detest, but in a few years, she's going to be able to put all of her female competition to shame.
