I think people are just liking it because they think Katy wrote it. If these were leaked lyrics from, for example, Lady Gagas album I bet half of them would be hating them.
If these turn out to be fake I'm going to laugh so much at all the people who are like "THESE ARE KATYS BEST LYRICS EVER. SO SAD. </3"
And if they turn out to be real I'm gonna be disappointed in the steep decline of Katys songwriting skills.
