I love those promo pictures. I even love the puppy dog hair style. These pictures are beautiful. Her artsy style has really come out this time around. It was due for the music world. What do you mean by download day August 5, 2006 and how can I be a part of the event? I really like Beyonce. I am sure she will do well.

Wow, all I'm going to say is, I'm getting this album the day it comes out. B'yonce fans are getting too hyped up over this new B'yonce cd/music/artist. And I'm going to buy the cd, not download it from Itunes.

Well the fans on the largest Destiny's Child message board on the Internet (DC3forever) decided on having a day in which all the fans would buy the single together on iTunes and other legal online music stores to have a single major impact on Deja Vu's sales and to help increase its chart position on the Billboard Hot 100. Someone else also went to the listenin party and said the album was hot. He too said Upgrade U was the best track. I cant wait 2 hear it.

According to a popular Radio DJ who got the chance to listen to the album, the only ballads are the last two tracks. They also noted that "Upgrade U" featuring Jay-Z was "the joint that had everybody rocking". According to the DJ, Bey is actually spitting on the track! But he assures you everyone will like it and the album in all. I can't wait to get my hands on 'BDay'!

….. Phase three was her 2003 solo album – DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE, which spawned four giant hits and permanently moved her closer to Madonna than Cher on the single-moniker continuum……

Physically and emotionally drained at the end of the shoot, she did what anyone in her position would; cut short a vacation and marched into the studio to write and record 22 songs in just 2 weeks. The result, her album B’Day,is due momentarily. It will be released on her 25th birthday. The emotions are raw and the sound is stripped down; a sample free mix of live instruments and clean,driving beats…..This is the sound of a woman breaking out.The ‘song of the summer’ designation has become the informal American equivalent of the Christmas No.1,and it is clear that Ms Knowles is in it to win it.
But maybe there’s something more than no-chart-can-hold-her world domination going on. Within days of our interview, online rumours surfaced that she and Jay-Z are finished. For now,though,she seems perfectly happy,like she can’t-or won’t- be stopped.


*We heard the photoshoot for your album cover was kind of intense.
- “It was an hour anda half outside New Orleans.In the swamp, with bumblebees and wasps and armadillos and dragonflies everywhere. There was a shot where I held an alligator. It had its mouth taped-that was my bright idea. So they went and got the alligator,and the alligator is 13feet.They were like ‘he is fine.he just ate.’”

*I guess that’s what you want to hear when you’re dealing with an alligator.
“Right. But then I looked over and saw his trainer, who had stitches and a bloody head. I was like ‘no thank you,we’ll just have to do it in production.’But I did hold a baby one. They were really cute,but since his mouth was taped he didn’t have any way to defend himself.He was upset all these people were handling him,so he peed on me.That was an experience.I also fished in the middle of the swamp in a canoe,which was very scary.If you tippeda little to the right,you’d be in an alligator-infested swamp. At one point the photographer got in the boat with me and we came so close to tilting over. At the end of the shoot,I felt silly because I saw all these kids jumping in the water and swimming,and here I was,terrified to put my toe in the water.


*CRAZY IN LOVE was such a huge hit- wasn’t it tempting to do the same thing?
“I learned that you can’t try to write another song like a hit song. All you’re going to do is drive yourself crazy,and it’s going to sound horrible. The concept was live instruments mixed with looped drums throughout. I kind of pushed that and made it the blueprint of the whole record.There aren’t any samples on the album.And the arrangements,the harmonies and the bridges take it to another place.Most of the songs are up-tempo; I’m singing a lot stronger. It sounds really natural. There was no pressure because no one knew- my management didn’t know,my label didn’t know.It was just this creative world.

*Lyrically the album sounds different.
“I was afraid after I did DREAMGIRLS that I would have to take a break because the character I play was so in me. I played her for six months. This album was everything I wanted her to say.Subconsciously I did that, I didn’t even think about it- the record has a lot of anger and strength. I’m really in a happy place,and I don’t have a reason to sing all these songs. It’s for a woman who’s trying to find her own way and has been in a relationship for a long time and her man is kind of comfortable.I knew I couldn’t do a love record,because DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE was that.I wanted it to be positive and empowering but I didn’t want it to be an angry break-up record,because we did that with THE WRITING’S ON THE WALL.So this is more about a woman who’s tired of being ignored in a relationship.


*Are you still with Jay-Z?
(Inscrutably polite) “I don’t talk about Jay-Z.”


**After being asked about her starving herself for the movie,she said that the food was the least amount of drama so then the interviewer went on with….**

*What was the most?
“The acting coach. I worked with Ivana Chubbuck,who works with many great actors. I had to do a lot of monologues and emotional diaries. I was literally crying every day in sessions with her. I had to go and think about what I wouldn’t normally think about.It was almost like therapy every day. I loved it, but it was intense. I’m sure it’ll get easier as I do more movies,but it was hard work,and I have a different respect for actors now- the idea of doing that all day and going from movie to movie.”

*When did you break your fast,and what was the first thing you ate?
“The wrap party! It was the day after we stopped shooting. They had these cupcakes, and I ate about 12. They had them on the set and I’d been craving them.I actually ate so many I got sick.After that? I don’t even know where to begin. Waffles and fried chicken,cheeseburgers, French fries,everything I could find. It would make you nauseous. That was the best time of my life.


*Unlike a lot of popstars, you haven’t had any feuds or verbal battles with other pop stars.Ever been tempted?
“If you don’t like something about someone,I feel like that’s fine,but if you don’t like it, why waste your energy on it?I thik if you don’t like something you should have that conversation with that person,not through the media. It’s silly. Just talk to that person.

Beyonce was thrilled when musical legend Tony Bennett asked her to team up with him for his new all-star album.

She reveals: "I could hardly believe it when he asked me to be on the album. It's got such a great cast, including Barbra Streisand and Bono - I jumped at the chance."

Beyonce and Tony's closely guarded track will be the first single on the album. She adds: "I just hope it does well. He really deserves it and I plan to invite him back to sing on one of my albums too.

Look out for Tony Bennett and Friends, due out later this year.

Its official there will be a video for the song "Listen" from the Dreamgirls soundtrack which is also on Bee's album. It's being directed by none other than Matthew Rolston. Matthew directed Bee's first solo video "Work It Out" he has done some great stuff so I can't wait to see what they come up with. LISTEN" is a (new) song from the movie that she decided to include on her album. As such, it'll be a single released from her album. . Not sure of the dates of filming but you will definitely be seeing the video and song in the near future. Just thought you would all like to know.
It will not contain footage from the film, but the two will be connected.
So in october as billboard said it before beyonce will be promotin two singles
