His first album was released in 1996 and he's still very much relevant after 17 years but will he be in 2020 ? He stated many times that he's not retiring anytime soon .
He's amazing sales (95-98 million albums and 80 million singles ) awards and longevity prove that he's all around legend.
His latest album was the best selling album of 2010 and has sold 7 million copies.But will he survive another decade in music industry ? will he be like madonna ?

He'll be 40 this year. In ten years he'll be 50. I can't see a 50 year old male rapper appealing to the youth. Not to mention, I don't think Eminem will really want to keep rapping a decade from now.

I think it's likely. Eminem has a very loyal fanbase, so he can easily sell albums for the next five years. I think it all depends on how much music he releases in the next 10 years... I can see him taking another hiatus like he did after Encore.
