So I bought this movie on Tuesday (Final Destination 3) and watched it all the way through noticing some errors in the editing of the movie such has glitches in the film. So I ignore it. Then today I wanted to watch the "Choose their Fate" special to see how the film was like using it. And guess what happens? Nothing! I sit her rewinding it to the point of making a decision and yet both decisions lead to the original movie. And guess what , I found this, *Spoilers*

I ruined the whole movie now because I read this. That link will tell you what the "Choose Their Fate" options happens to the movie, but yet when I do it on my DVD nothing happens. Should I return my DVD? I think its a defect. Because I tried both options and nothing like the above happens. Am I doing something wrong. All you do is pick an option, and I did that. I'm so confused. Help me.

I want to note something else too. In the first "Choose their Fate" scenero, you flip either Heads or Tails. If you pick heads the movie goes like normal. If you pick Tails.....

After the vision, she's supposed to be in the line, and she then warns all of her friends to not go on the ride, saving Jason and that one girl. (lol, I don't know the names), but when I pick tails, it does something weird. Very weird. After the vision the movie goes like normal, but yet when it gets to the point of blacking out into nothing after the accident and Kevin is with her, the movie ends like it's supposed to do, but thats not how it's supposed to end (in this sceniro). 4 people should have survived not 2. But yet that's the way my DVD worked. So we know it's trying to work but yet it's a glitch, I think.

So I'm returning it. Make sure your DVD doesn't have glitches. I don't know if this is just a Minnesota defect in all the DVD's or just mine.

Wow, I'm so f'ing pissed. I just returned my movie and got another one, but this time widescreen instead of fullscreen and the same thing. I suspect either Target got ripped off or Minneosta got ripped off. I'm going to return this and buy the movie from Best Buy. I don't know if it's a defect for just Minnesota (which i hope not) but I am getting pissed. This has never happened before, why now? So I'm going back to Target now and complaining.

I'm in Illinois and it's the same thing. I didn't get mine from Target. But I actually got it to show her saving her BF and the girl at one point while fastforwarding. But then I rewound it to watch it and it just disappeared.

I think the 'Choose Their Fate" feature in general is really effed up, It won't go back to doing what it had showed either.

Complaints should be sent to whoever manufactured the DVD's, cuz I'm guessing that they are all like that.

I actually got mine in the Box Set of all 3 movies, but I doubt it makes a difference.

Okay people I found the source of the problem. You need a certain DVD Player to play this option. My DvD didn't have the right system Requirements to play it (according to the girl at Target, DVD players have a + / - sign that they read dvds from and some only read either one, but some can read both, which is what FD3 is. You need a DVD player to play both) Obviously mine doesn't do that. So...LMAO, I spent another 51 bucks on a DVD player just so I can watch this movie. And I tested it too. I used a DVD Player at Target and I got to the first situation and it worked. So ignore what I said earlier.


IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS PLAYING "CHOOSE THEIR FATE" DON'T THINK ANYTHING IS WRONG. IT'S YOUR DVD PLAYER, NOT YOUR DVD.

I could've screwed Target over saying they had defects in all their DVD's. So now I have to set up my new DVD Player tomorrow. By the way, at Target, get the Polaraid dvd player brand. This is what made the dvd work at the store. So I picked this up for 50 bucks. Not to bad for one dvd worth playing. LMAO, I can't wait to see the movie again.

I have a ton of DVD players in my house. I guess I did only try it on one. So I will try the others now .

^^ That's good. It's probably just your DVD. I just watched the first scenerio and it worked, but the audio didn't match the lips, lmao, one thing after another, but I'm fine with it. Did you like Final Destination 3? Which one is your favorite. Oh and I also heard a rumor they might be making a 4th one. It could be just a rumor though.

If you only bought the movie to see those choose their fate things, I read the Wikipedia thing you posted and all those changes can be seen at youtube under final destination 3 alternatives. I watched all of them like last week, it showed Wendy getting hit by the train instead of a vision, Frankie getting saved, the Ashley's dying a different way. That's was a waste of 71 dollars dude.

What a rip off. I spent an extra 50 bucks for nothing. The only advantage I saw to the "Choose Their Fate" is you find out how the survivors in FD2 die, and you see Frankie's video tape and him getting caught. Otherwise, it was stupid. Plus the fact that the DVD player kept skipping and wouldn't play. I had to go back a chapter then go forward a chapter just so I can view one. Seriously, this idea sucks bad. There was one scene that was stupid. Kill Shot / Warning shot. I saw nothing here that changed? A bird didn't die, whoop, a bird survived, yada yada ya. I think they should have had more characters survive instead of one. Overall, I think it was stupid and pointless. If they make a 4th Final Destination, which I'm hoping, they better not do this idea or make it worth doing it. Like one situation was stupid, the one where you save Frankie. The only difference is Kevin jumping on his car and pulling him out of the car. An extra 5 seconds of changing the film. Yes your right, lmao, and here I was overacting saying I was going to die, if I don't view this.

The third one was my fave after seeing it in theaters. But now it's not. The first one has always been the closest to me, but the second one is just as good.
