I liked the symplicity of the video. It had a very simple concept. The video starts out stormy and grey but ends sunny and bright. Just like the song, which is about realizing things can't stay bad forever.
I agree more stuff could have been done. People could have joined him/went swimming ect. But it wasn't meant to be some flashy video. It was just a simple solemn to happy video.
The video was simply... simple. Sky effects were pretty cool, but I lost interest about a minute into the video when he's simply just standing in the water. I was expecting Paris Hilton to just show up with her modeling crew near the end, but it didn't happen.
