Right now she's going to focus on promoting "Pulse", than she's gonna shop around for a record label to re-release "So Amazin". "Gonna Tell Everybody" is right now just a radio single, and it doesn't look like she's gonna promote it.

I think she should focus on "Pulse" because it has the potential of being a GOOD movie (too bad she wasn't lead), and than re-release "So Amazin" with some more songs. It's really not that bad of an album, it just needs standout-tracks to compete on radio. "She Don't Know" could be a moderate hit on the Latin Tracks, while "Who's Gonna Ride" could be a hit on R&B tracks just because of the controversy around it ("Cry Me A River" type video would help the song, both WGR and GTE")

Ya'll Ain't Nuthin is probably my favorite song off the album, too bad it isn't radio friendly.

Her CD is so amazing. Almost every song is amazing. Maybe she could re-release it with "Wind You Up" and "Tonight" <333

So, another company can promote the album? Won't her old label sue the new label if it becomes a hit? Or do things work differently in the music world? The label doesn't own the rights of the album?

I liked the So Amazin album. Hopefully she'll have better luck with her new movie and that she find the right record company for her.

Her film will get horrible reviews like most teen horror flicks do. If she wants to be taken seriously she needs to be in a serious drama or a well reviewed smart comedy.

I think if she did things right, she could own the rights to the songs. Owning them would let her use them.

I mean Mariah hasn't been with Columbia for a while, but she still sings the songs that were released with Columbia. Cuz I think she has the rights to them.

You're right. But, this movie was directed by Wes Craven. It shouldn't get that much bad reviews...or then again there was Cursed with Christina Ricci.

Mariah wrote all her songs that's why she has the right to them. If Milian doesn't write her music then she doesn't have the rights to anything. Idk if Milian writes her music. & even still, most of the time it's not the artist who owns their publication i.e. Biggie (Diddy owned his stuff). She can't perform anything until she has a label. & I don't think that another label would take a chance on her since her albums consistently flop.

Cursed got good reviews Wes Craven thought it was bad..but I saw it on Ebert & Roeper's Thumbs Up video segment... ^

Films usually get up to 40 major critics to review their films, the fact it only got 21 reviews means the film wasn't released for critics, meaning they had to pay to see it because the studio didn't provide a screening.

Christina co-wrote 9 out of 11 songs on the album. (She didn't write "Say I" or "Twisted".)

Then it's the 2nd reason I gave. She doesn't own her publication.

She own's most of it, and I don't think "Pulse" will flop at the box office... A lot of people are anticipating the movie, it might be successful like "The Grudge".

She needs help with this CD proper PR would be nice....that pic is HOTT!!! It kinda reminds me of her co-star in "Pulse" Kristen Bell for some reason...

Keep in mind Seymour, there were several movies in the past that got bad reviews but did pretty well. I think Pulse could do pretty well too.

I think she needs to find out what image/genre she wants to be.
