Yes, it has two MV but that's all and they don't even add it to taylor's accounts on youtube (the footage video) but that was all
They make a MV and they said that it's the international single...but when they saw that it flopped in the US they don't send it anywhere...I live in spain and I have never listen to it on a spanish radio
Mean would have never smashed internationally, it's too country for that I like it of course, but almost nobody is here for country on europe, taylor need a cross-over or justa pop song to smash here, and TSOU was that
|
It wasn't promoted worldwide, but it was intended to be the international single and i'm not sure what happened afterwards ... I remember it charted on some belgian chart back then though, in the top 20.
I believe that good music is good music and it can transcend genre, Didn't Lady Antebellum's Need You Now do well in Europe?

Yep. Found out about it 2 years ago.
You never know how many of those metal heads & rock music fans that are her fans. You won't find them jumping up and down at her shows wearing glittery shirts. I feel bad for those peeps who live in the pop/mainstream bubble that think her fans are kids & teens, mostly female. Sure they are true, but that's only on the surface

Bridge of Long Live
Ours just became bearable to my ears when the music video slayed me.

YES! Rocker Taylor ***** on pop-acts you know today. She will do well if she tries the Alt./Rock genre. You know the usual rock audience, they LOVE kick-ass acts that are not plastic. She fits the criteria, but the image, she needs to use the image on Harper's Bazaar photoshoot.
|
The image is too, hmmm, soft. The Kanye West-shirt shot killed me. Better than Vogue shoot.

The lyrics would really turn-off the rock audience a little, but I agree, production is flawless.

NOO.
Song with worst lyrics would have to be OURS and LONG LIVE. Worst songs on Speak Now too. Never Grow Up is pretty good.
|
Man, NGU was the prettiest song on the album. And Ours gave us a hint of something brilliant in her.

Alt. & Rock audience are not so different tbh. And I can say that those genres are my 'home'. For the mainstream, they love to trash the female rocker at the beginning. But at the end of the day, they will worship them like God.
And join me in pop-hating boat.

The one in shades, was the best for me in Vogue, but we couldn't see her beautiful eyes though.
O/T
Doesn't she look like Taylor? She's Molly, a bad-ass model from ANTM.

Vogue shoot gave me Joni Mitchell/Stevie Nicks feel. While Bazaar gave me that Pat Benatar feel. These pics:

This. NGU ***** on life.
Btw, I definitely did not expect that Taylor fans here are like the usual Taylor fans that I met (the rockers & hipsters) when I signed up. ATRL feels like home.
